This July, Porto Montenegro invites guests to discover Nine of Us – One Story, a collective exhibition celebrating the richness of Montenegrin contemporary art through a vivid dialogue of styles, generations, and visual expression.
Set within the historic surroundings of the Naval Heritage Museum, the exhibition brings together nine Montenegrin artists whose individual perspectives meet in a shared creative narrative. Through painting, texture, colour, and form, Nine of Us – One Story presents art as a space of freedom, connection, and personal interpretation.
From expressive surfaces to layered visual languages, the exhibition offers an atmospheric cultural experience where each work contributes to a broader story of creativity, identity, and artistic exchange by the Adriatic.

Nine Artists, One Shared Story
Nine of Us – One Story brings together nine Montenegrin artists in a collective presentation shaped by diversity, dialogue, and creative individuality.
Each artist contributes a distinct visual voice, creating an exhibition where different styles, generations, and artistic approaches meet within a single expressive space. Through painting, the exhibition explores freedom of interpretation, the materiality of texture, and the emotional presence of colour and composition.
A Celebration of Montenegrin Visual Expression
Presented at the Naval Heritage Museum, the exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to experience contemporary Montenegrin creativity in a setting where heritage, atmosphere, and artistic expression come together.
Join Nine of Us – One Story this July and experience a collective exhibition that celebrates painting as a living conversation — personal, expressive, and connected through one shared artistic story.
